About us
BUSINESS VISUM GmbH (until May 2010 operating under the name of Schmidt & Kalis Visa- und Konsularservice GmbH) developed from an independent department at the Schmidt und Kalis GmbH, founded in 1983. BUSINESS VISUM continued to grow rapidly. Since 2003 the amount of business more than tripled.
In 2000, when many embassies moved from Bonn to the new federal capital, Schmidt & Kalis Visa- und Konsularservice GmbH opened a new branch office in Berlin. Due to an increasing number of customers, the company had to move into larger offices in 2005.
Since 2008, when a third branch was opened in Frankfurt a. M. and further expansions through a new office in Munich in 2009, BUSINESS VISUM is present to all important embassies and consulates. In July 2010 our headquarter in Berlin had to move again in a bigger building.
Amongst our customers are several corporations, big companies and medium-sized businesses, as well as various associations, organisations and enterprises from the tourist industry. BUSINESS VISUM attends to customers both in Germany and other European countries.
